Special Education Teachers

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education is a minimum
  • Current Ohio teaching license in Special Education (Intervention Specialist)
  • Prior experience working with children with emotional / behavioral disorders
  • Ability to write an Individual Education Program (IEP) for students
  • Working knowledge of Federal Law IDEIA
  • Basic computer application skills

Associate Teachers

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education or related field is preferred
  • Prior experience working with children with emotional / behavioral disorders
  • Basic computer application skills

 

One-on-One Aides

  • Associate degree in related field is preferred, but not required
  • Prior experience working with children with emotional / behavioral disorders

 

Mental Health Therapists
Provides individual, group, and crisis counseling to students.
  • Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling
  • Current LISW or PCC licensure
  • Knowledge of child and family development, individual / group / family counseling techniques, solution-focused, short-term treatment techniques, and mental health diagnoses (DSM-IV-TR)
  • Knowledge and understanding of special education labels used in IEP's
